Policy Framework for Internationalisation of Higher Education in South Africa

POLICY

The Minister for Higher Education, Science and Innovation, finally, on 6 November 2020, published the Policy Framework for Internationalisation of Higher Education in South Africa. The sector has waited for almost a quarter of a century for this as the rest of the world accelerated its higher education sectors' global footprint. This framework provides much-needed guidance and certainties for the higher education sector in South Africa. The policy may be downloaded here.
